Obituary For Eryn Theresa Moropito

Eryn Theresa Moropito (born Brandi Theresa Doreen) passed away unexpectedly July 5th, 2023 at home. She was only 48 years old. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. Eryn was born on April 5th, 1975 in Burnaby BC.

Eryn is survived by her daughter Tegan Batschkewitz, husband Paul Byrne, mother Gail Jordan, sister Shannon Bjork, brother in law Mike Bjork, brother Russ Jordan, niece Hayley Bjork (BJ Wawrzasek) and nephew Boston Bjork.

She is predeceased by father Jim Moropito and mother Doreen Millburn.

Eryn was a fun spirited person who took on many passions. She loved gardening, flowers music, especially loud music. She was very creative and could repair, restore or create almost anything. She loved home decor, event planning and most recently painting beautiful stones.

She loved all animals and had very fond memories of staying at a horse ranch in Barriere as a child. Over the last few years she rescued 3 dogs and a cat that she loved dearly.

Eryn went to Killarney High School and graduated from Phoenix Academy. She worked as a Construction Safety Officer, which was her dream job. She had an excellent work ethic and was very respected by the companies she worked for.

Eryn fought through a number of challenges in her life and in her own words she “was a trooper and always soldiered on”. She always saw light at the end of the tunnel.

Eryn was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile could light up the room. She loved so deeply and she always put others' needs ahead of her own.

She was kind and passionate with a wonderful wild side. She made an impact on so many lives. She will be forever missed.

“If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, we’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again”.

Private Family Service to be held later.

In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree in Eryn's, which you can do from this site.

Still at a loss for words .. I remember the freckle faced red head that Shannon brought home so many years before. And within weeks she was their family. The kid had her struggles but took them on with an amazing attitude. A life gone too soon for sure but her gone, she is at peace and in a better place.. you will be missed Eryn

I will forever miss our phone chats. No matter how long we talked, less than a minute after we hung up Eryn would be calling back with one more thing. I will miss you forever. Love you Mom xxoo
