Obituary For Isaah Leroy Nigel Brown

An angel opened up the book of life and wrote down my baby's birth. Then she whispered as she closed the book “He's too beautiful for Earth”

Isaah Leroy Nigel Brown, 26, of Surrey, BC, tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident due to no fault of his own on October 5th, 2023. Born on December 15th, 1996, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Isaah was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin.

His name was chosen by his mother as Isaah being her favorite while meaning “Salvation”, Leroy being his Great Grandfather's middle name - Elmer Leroy Brown - meaning “King” and Nigel as meaning “Strong Dark One”.

Isaah was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, a heart of gold, a big smile and a deep desire to know everyone he met. He thrived on making deep connections with people.

Isaah will be deeply missed by his mother, Jodie Lyn Bougher, and his siblings Allura, Kyauna, and Jeremiah. He was also cherished by his grandmother Bonnie Brown, grandfather Douglas Bougher, uncle Brad Bougher (Genevieve) and cousins Amelia and Benjamin.

Isaah attended Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary for his high school education. Following his education, he pursued a career with RoofMart as a Crane Truck Operator and Driver. His dedication and skills were highly valued by his colleagues and the company.

Isaah had a passion for everything that he put his energy into. His most recent passions were playing the guitar, jamming with his friends, listening to and sharing a wide variety of music, he was starting to explore playing the bass and drums. He loved live music and especially attending festivals. He really enjoyed meeting new people and exploring new places. He had a passion for exploring the outdoors and took a special interest in learning new skills as an outdoorsman. His friends remember him as being a very genuine person. He was the same person no matter who he was around. He loved using drones and was considered a very experienced drone pilot. He took a great interest in capturing beautiful videos with his drone of natural spaces. He always had a natural ability that showed throughout his life in football, longboarding, track, snowboarding, video games (he put a lot of time into playing with his friends during the Covid years). He loved to read, lay in his various hammocks and play chess. He loved to pursue any subjects and deep conversations related to spirituality and philosophy. He was always there and open to helping anyone he cared about through difficult times and changes in life. He was an agent of mischief to bring people laughs and make them smile. He loved the opportunities to travel to Mexico and Costa Rica and was particularly interested in learning Spanish while experiencing different cultures. He is fondly remembered as having an addiction to Mini Eggs, Hi-Chews, Honey Dijon chips and Root Beer all with seemingly effortless maintenance of his six pack. Isaah was an accomplished actor and model with appearances in Dim Sum Funeral, Stargate Atlantis, Blade, Psych, numerous commercials, print modeling and catalogue modeling. Isaah introduced a lot of his friends to the occasional shot of his favorite Jamaican Rum - Bumbu. He developed a passion for working on his Volkswagon vehicles and was about to take on an engine swap with his VW Golf. It goes without saying that he loved riding his motorcycle and loved the times he had riding in groups.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honour of Isaah at the Fort Langley Community Hall, located at 9167 Glover Road, Langley, British Columbia, on Thursday, October 26th, 2023. The event will begin at 3:00pm and continue until 8:00pm, with a formal ceremony starting at 4:30pm. Attendees are welcome to bring a single flower to lay down at the end of the ceremony, as a symbol of remembrance and love for Isaah.

Angel In Me

by Camille Pierce

As you look around, reflect, and take heed

You might think with regret that we failed to succeed

I want you to know that is not true, it can't be

Because you now have an angel in me

You made my life beautiful and so full of love

My heart is now full and I fly like a dove

We won; it was a team victory

And now you have an angel in me

I don't feel cheated or that my time was cut short

I lived, I loved, and had so much support

As you face each day please know and believe

That now you have an angel in me

Take risks, and have fun, and reach for your dreams

Don't worry about falling or scraping your knees

My hands, though invisible, will catch you if you need

Because now you have an angel in me

There can be so much to life to learn and discover

Find magic, make waves, and inspire one another

I'll guard you, I'll protect you, and I'll never flee

Because now you have an angel in me

Make each day an adventure to learn something new

I'm watching, I'm here, I'm always with you

My wings are spread wide and I'm here to oversee

Always know you have an angel in me

Go forth in your life and live without fear

I promise to sprinkle in things to remind you I'm here

I hope they will bring laughs, smiles, and bravery

Because now you have an angel in me

I love you all - Isaah

I'm so sorry for the loss. I was at the accident scene . Broke my heart seeing him laying there . Its been 6 months now , I sit there every Friday praying and talking to him. Today I met his mother and it shattered my heart seeing her cry. I lived in this apartment building for 4yrs . I have video of the accident scene if it helps.
